A rectangular top with a moulded edge above a frieze drawer and double arched apron on turned tapering legs joined by strechers and with turned feet.
William and Mary era 1688 – 1702
The period is named after the co-regents William II of Orange and Mary II. Under their reign many craftsmen emigrated to England from the Netherlands. Creating a new Anglo-Dutc style that was a amalgamation for the taste of both countries. Furniture from the William and Mary period is scarce, because of the limited period and the production was for a relatiely small population and of course of its age.
