A rectangular paneled gilt wood frame decorated with laurel leaves, the top with a classical urn surrounded with leafs and ribbons.
Johan Åkerblad 1728 – 1799
Started his career as an apprentice with master mirror maker Olof Westerberg in Stockholm. In 1758 he received his Mastership and started his own business. Johan åkerblad was a very skilful manufacturer who mastered all the parts of mirror making, wood carving, gilding as well as foiling the glass with quicksilver.
